A nurturing home daycare in Oakland where your child explores, creates, and grows through daily adventures, chef-prepared organic meals, and 25+ years of dedicated care.
“Our mission is to provide a thoughtfully prepared environment where children learn through play, exploration, and self-direction. Inspired by Montessori principles, we nurture independence, curiosity, and respect, helping each child build a solid foundation for lifelong learning.”
The greatest gifts we can give our children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence.
Our intimate home setting provides the best of both worlds: the warmth of a nanny with the structure and safety of a licensed facility.
Zoo visits, museum trips, library story times, and park adventures. Every day brings new discoveries.
Delicious, nutritious meals and snacks prepared fresh daily by our culinary school graduate.
Small group sizes mean your child receives individualized care and the nurturing attention they deserve.
Extensive training in child development, nursing, nutrition, and special needs support.

Hear from parents who have experienced the Bridges difference.
Bridges Early Learning has been such an amazing find for our family. Sarah is so patient, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child — she really gets to know their personalities and makes them feel comfortable, supported, and loved. It honestly feels like more than just childcare; it’s a place where kids are encouraged to grow and build confidence. We trusted Sarah with both of our girls and absolutely recommend her.
I have known Sarah for over 5 years. She has watched two of my children from infancy through starting TK, and currently has my youngest son at Bridges Early Learning — and I truly cannot say enough good things about her. She is incredibly caring, and you can tell she genuinely loves the children like they are her own. She is also super accommodating with parents and always goes beyond in ways that make an enormous difference. She has been a huge blessing to our family; we feel extremely lucky to have found Sarah and Bridges Early Learning.
